I have lived in copper flats since April of 2023. I have really enjoyed this property overall. There are no hidden fees, quiet and tucked away. If they raise the rent significantly, it will determine if I stay. There are safer places in the valley that offer more amenities for a similar price, but finding a decent place that isn't going to rip you off is hard to find these days. I love Copper Flats for this; they are honest, my monthly cost is always consistent, and the staff is always willing to explain changes. ............................................................................................................ Pros: Friendly neighbors, a nice outdoor area, the dog park is typically very clean as of late. The staff has changed a couple of times. I see that they are rarely in the office; most communication is through email or text, and they are very prompt to respond. Its just difficult to catch them in the office. Nice gym area. Newer building, new appliances, smart thermostats, the bottom floor has decent water pressure. Jason (maintenance staff) is always very friendly and helpful. ............................................................................................................ MIDVALE cons: In my less than two years staying here, there have been multiple gang-related shootings less than a block from the property. A couple of days ago, there was an incident where 24 shots were fired. 2 summers ago, a drug house burned down across the street right before the police tried to raid the home. The whole street was blocked off by hazmat. The great news is that house is no longer a problem! Main Street is up and coming, its a fun area with festivals and markets. Midvale is making improvements but it's not there yet. I feel safe on the property, but walking the neighborhood at night isn't highly recommended. The property itself is very secure, and there are cameras everywhere. Property Cons: My biggest complaint is the noise. As I mentioned earlier, it's a small complex, so you get to know your neighbors if you want to. I messaged my upstairs neighbor about the number of noisy thuds, and to my surprise, he wasn't home. It ended up being a neighbor on the second floor, a unit over. Kitty-corner to me WTH. These walls and floors are paper thin. I mean, you can hear your neighbor sneeze. Just a heads up if you are bothered by regular everyday shuffles, muffled TV noises, footsteps, cabinets closing, etc. I don't know if this bothers most people accustomed to living in close proximity. Personally, it's a lot for me, other residents have also complained about similar issues. They have a nice concrete corn hole set up on the property but, you need to check the bags out from the office. Since on-site office staff is hit or miss and gone after six. Good luck with checking out the bags. Suggestion... sure. Put the bags in the gym with a sign-out sheet. There are cameras in case of theft or misuse. It would be nice to use them, maybe they don't even exist... I have never seen or heard of anybody successfully checking them out. New conspiracy unlocked. I like the app (Domuso) for paying rent. The fees I pay on top of the rent. Fees total around $250 monthly for a one-bedroom, not including gas and electricity. parking: $20 (mandatory stall assigned x2 for 2 bedrooms) Real estate Tax allocation: $10 Water: $10 Sewer: $38-$42 Seems very extreme for one bedroom lol I don't poop that much, I swear! This is strange because they divvy the sewer bill between all the units. So basically, communism at its crappiest. Paying for your neighbor's poop :) But this is a reasonably common practice based on what the staff has told me. Internet: $95 fast and reliable. Service fee: $6.50 Water: $10 Trash: $20 CAM: $40 I like living here :)

These apartments are a dream! The community is absolutely stunning, and I can't get enough of the beautiful surroundings. The location is perfect, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I'm in love with everything about this place!

I love my new apartment! <3 UPDATE: After living here for almost a year, the management is great and very responsive. The only thing I don't like about this apartment is the bedroom windows, you can't open them, cooking smell is always trapped in. I wish the windows were different to have fresh air.
